Free Introductory Sessions

 

Winter 2009 classes are now forming. Contact the Admissions Office at 1-800-639-6039 x232 or email us for information on the application process and deadlines.

Please join us to learn how exciting and rewarding going back to school can be. Info Sessions offer career exploration, program outline, financial aid overview, and an opportunity to ask questions. Introductory workshops and visiting lecturers provide additional opportunity to experience the field prior to applying.

Online Paralegal Studies Certificate:

  • Becoming a Paralegal: What You Need to Know: Wednesday evening, November 12, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Free. Please join us to learn more about careers in law, an overview of the online Paralegal Certificate at Woodbury College, and a summary of the admissions and financial aid processes. 

Mediation Graduate Certificate & Master's Degree:

  • Becoming a Mediator: What You Need to Know: Friday afternoon, November 14, 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Free. Please join us to learn more about careers in mediation and conflict resolution, an overview of the graduate-level programs at Woodbury College, and a summary of the admissions and financial aid processes. 

  • Basic Mediation Training:  Wed. evening through Saturday, January 21-24 .  $845 This intensive, hands-on three-and-a-half-day workshop offers an overview of the mediation process and skills. There is a $100 discount available for those who work for nonprofits, and there is a tuition reduction available for those who take this workshop and then enroll in one of the master’s programs. This workshop is taught by Senior Faculty Members in the Mediation Program.  There will be a free Mediation Program Information Session offered during the Friday, January 23 lunch break at 1 p.m. (lunch will be provided).

  • Mediation Master's Degree Programs Information Session: Friday afternoon, January 23 , 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Free. Please join us to learn more about careers in mediation and conflict resolution, an overview of the graduate-level programs at Woodbury College, and a summary of the admissions and financial aid processes.
